Get it all out.

Contributing to a book, the saying came to mind, “The only bad decision is the one you don’t make.” How true. Once we make a decision, it’s go time. I feel like a kid who’s been given a colourful tin box, with the detailed picture of a merry-go-round on it, well worn with rusty hinges, chock-a-block full of a mix of old and new texters, varying in nib size and thickness, colouring through the ones that work and don’t. I’m madly scrawling to transfer from my mind and heart, a descriptive picture in words on the thick, blank, white pages in the A3 spiral art diary, enough to be able to express the experiences and stories of others I have been priviledge to be a part of; their life, their history, thus shaping mine to share with you.

With any project we feel drawn to create, the success is in the moment. The moment we get excited with an idea, a design, a thought, action it within the hour. Write the names of people you need to connect with, search for the website that will increase your knowledge, write up the draft email. Take the action. The action is what takes us from the idea to the finished product.
